King’s Cross station is home to the “9¾ Platform” used by Harry Potter to travel to the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and is one of the oldest railway stations in London. It is the southern terminus of the East Coast main line of The British Railway, and is next to st Pancras station, the terminus of the Eurostar international train. The sign “Platform 9¾” hangs on the wall between Stations 9 and 10, with a luggage cart tucked into the wall, making it a popular destination for Harry Potter fans.
